Claims Chargeback
The chargeback could only be related to the claims included in the analysed sample.
The amount of each claim is divided in three parts:
- Labour
- Spare parts
- Sublet
The potential chargeback can be related to the entire claim amount or the amount of one or more above mentioned items.
For each analysed claim an accuracy percentage is automatically calculated, that percentage could change depending on severity and quantity of anomalies found.
The rules are schematised in the following table:
The recharge will be applied only if the Warranty Efficiency Index is below 80%, referring exclusively to the “Warranty” entry in the “Detail of current Audit Results” table.
Specifically, the effective chargeback will be 50% of the calculated potential chargeback in the Development audit, whereas it will be 100% of potential chargeback in the Overall audit.
The chargeback will be performed through the claim adjustment on Modis CS+, few days after the audit visit.
An adjustment percentage will be applied on paid amount for labour, spare parts and/or sublet up to the amount to chargeback.
The write off of the reimbursement related to adjusted claims will be accounted in the Purchase Order issued in the next monthly warranty closure.
