Wear and Tear Parts

Precise limits (both mileage and age, whichever first occurs) have been defined in order to help the dealers to better evaluate the customers’ requests for warranty coverage of such parts.

The limits are specified in the Circular Letter “MAS000751_Wear and tear parts policy”.

The policy is meant to be applied unless the part is involved in a dedicated campaign, a specific technical bulletin or in unusual circumstances.

It’s necessary to open a BOL ticket before sending Warranty Claims for wear and tear parts if the component is inside the limits.
