Vehicle Preparation
After the “Quality Check”, the vehicle should be parked in the designated parking area “Ready to delivery; Maserati protection covers should still be fitted to the vehicle.
The Shop Foreman gives the RO to the Service Advisor who should:
- check the documentation; ;
- update the maintenance record in the vehicle’s warranty booklet (if applicable);
- in case of interventions that change the original configuration of the vehicle, fill in the Variant Tracking following the procedure in the “Operative Manual Configuration Changes Tracking”;
- make sure the vehicle is ready for the delivery, in the proper area and protected by the Maserati covers;
- remove the specific marker placed on the vehicle to highlight a workshop return (when applicable).
All the vehicles should be cleaned inside and outside at the end of interventions. For the outside washing, it is advisable to always ask the owner for authorisation during the Reception Phase;
Dealer can offer Customer update on vehicle's repair status or notify car readiness for pick-up (eg. via SMS)
