Corporate Identity
Detailed information related to the Dealership Service facilities are included in the Maserati Service Guidelines, available on ModisCS+ (Brand Portal/ 14. Dealer Facilities/ New CI).
The playbook is divided into six chapters plus one appendix:
- Atelier of Passion
- Service Prototype
- Exterior
- Interior
- Service Toolkit
- Specifications
The first two chapters focus on the concept and prototype layouts. The “Service prototype” is introduced in the next paragraph.
Chapters three to five go into more detail of the exterior and interior components as well as fixtures, fittings and equipment (the toolkit).
The sixth chapter is an appendix containing schedules and specifications for reference.
The appendix at the end of the manual includes information about the configuration in multi-brand contexts, to avoid confusing messages to the clients, interference or competitive advantages among brands.
Giving the particular attention dedicated to the eMobility standards, this section of the White Book includes a specific paragraph related to this topic.
Service Prototype
The ‘Service Prototype’ represents the ideal layout of a new Aftersales space. It is planned with the aim to guarantee the maximum functionality and efficiency in all the working areas and at the same time to be consistent with the principles of the New Maserati Concept and guarantee customers the highest level of comfort and experience.
A set of principles that underpin this ideal layout have been extrapolated to ensure a correct translation of the design concept to any given site.
eMobility
The new “Maserati Service Guidelines” playbook introduces for the first-time details about the facilities for electric vehicles.
Information about the correct management of electric vehicles can be found in the entire manual and, in particular in the “eMobility” paragraph (chapter 5 “Service Toolkit”) details on specific tools and for the setting up of a special repair area are provided.
Furthermore, specific areas for the battery handling and for the vehicles’ quarantine are described in the “Service Prototype” chapter.
The quarantine area is an isolated space where electric vehicles that reveal serious problems with the battery during the first inspection are temporarily placed.
