Blocking Claim Flags (Warranty expired or locked)

FLAG CONDITION FOR ADDING CONDITION FOR REMOVING
CMM

When, through MDEVO tool diagnosis, a suspected anomaly is detected on the Engine Control Module (ECM).

When the flag is set, it is not possible to perform under warranty campaigns related to components belonging the Sections 1 (Engine) and 2 (Gearbox)

The flag is removable if after the BOL checks:

  • the anomaly is not confirmed;
  • the customer - at his own expense - restores the ECM and any related damaged components.
CRM For internal information. We can add this flag in case of critical customer We can remove this flag when we do not need to manage critical customer anymore. EFM

We can flag a vehicle imported in a country with different warranty conditions from the origin one (e.g. from USA to China or vice versa) when it visits a workshop and a Repair Order is issued by the dealer.

When this flag is set, warranty expires, only recall Campaigns can be performed under warranty

Service Campaigns can be performed at the expense of customer, the dealer can ask only the reimbursement of the administrative cost (entering Labour code 0200200 and Cost Code 23)

We can remove the flag if we have the proof that the vehicle is back in its origin market. GEN We can use this flag when we want to track the vehicle for a generic information. We can remove the flag when we don’t want/need to track the  vehicle  anymore INC

Serious vehicle damages (e.g. chassis), pictures and detailed comments.

Any active warranty expires and it is possible to perform only Recall Campaigns under warranty. Service campaigns can be carried out at customer expenses (dealer can ask for the reimbursement of administrative costs using the Labour code 0200200)

When we have the proof that the interventions have been performed by Maserati Standards KMM

The flag KMM could be added when we can proof that the mileage has been modified (Service Entry, Repair Order, service booklet).

Warranty expires but it is possible to claim both for Recall and Service campaigns and ask for refund of pre-paid maintenance.

- MNG

This flag is entered when the scheduled maintenance has not been correctly performed on the vehicle (consult the specific maintenance plan on the Owner's Manual  or on Knowledge on Line.

The warranty expires for components that can be damaged by not regular maintenance. Both recall and service campaigns can be performed under warranty

- MOD

Pictures, Repair Order, documents proving the vehicle modification.  

Any warranty expires on components affected by the modification

Both Recall and Service campaigns can be performed unless they are related to the modified components

Documents proving that all  modified parts have been replaced and the vehicle is at Maserati standard ROT

This flag Total Loss is entered when we receive documentation that states the scrapping of the vehicle (pictures with VIN, car breaker document, reference Authority certification, etc.)

The vehicle warranty expires for all car components

RUB

This flag could be added when we receive information about car theft: email/mail  from insurance company, Police.

When this flag is active, the warranty and the Service Entry opening are blocked

We can remove this flag when we have the proof that the vehicle has been recovered (Police report)
