Lubricant and Consumables

Lubricants and consumables listed below can be claimed under warranty only if their loss and/ or deterioration is consequential of a warranty intervention:

  • Engine oil
  • Brake fluid
  • Oil filter
  • Fuel filter
  • Air filter
  • Liquid coolant
  • Air conditioning filter
  • Wiper fluid

Lubricants and consumables listed above are the owner’s responsibility if the warranty intervention and scheduled maintenance are performed at the same time. 

If the OEM lubricant or consumable is not available, the alternative used must meet OE specifications. It can be added under sublet at cost with a 10% markup, and the invoice must be attached to the claim.


Disclaimer

It is mandatory to use the designated oil viscosity  reported in the vehicle’s Owner’s Manual for all interventions under contractual and extended warranty, prepaid maintenance, and/or for all scheduled maintenance.

Consequential damage due to use of incorrect oil viscosity will not be covered under warranty.

Lubricants and consumables listed are at the customer’s expense if the warranty intervention and normal maintenance are performed at the same time.

Only the fluid part numbers listed below are valid for warranty claims.
