Blocking Claim Flags (Warranty Expired or Locked)
When, through MDEVO tool diagnosis, a suspected anomaly is detected on the Engine Control Module (ECM).
When the flag is set, it is not possible to perform under warranty related to components belonging the Sections 1 (Engine) and 2 (Gearbox).

The flag may be removed after BOL analysis & confirmation:• the anomaly is not confirmed;

Vehicles are flagged when imported from one country to another (e.g. from USA to China) when it visits a workshop and a Repair Order is opened by the dealer.
When this flag is set, warranty expires, only recall Campaigns can be performed under warranty;
Service Campaigns can be performed at the expense of the customer.
We can remove the flag if we have the proof that the vehicle is back in its origin market.

GEN Flag is used for general information tracking (e.g., improper maintenance, abuse or neglect, and the abuse or neglect interferes with the proper functioning of the vehicle).We can remove the flag when we don’t want/need to track the vehicle anymore.

INCFlag may be added for vehicles involved in an accident or sustained damage, salvage title or branded vehicles.
Pictures and detailed comments of damaged components.
Any active warranties may be void. However, it is possible to perform Recall Campaigns and under warranty
When we have the proof that the interventions have been performed by Maserati Standards.

MODFlag may be added for any modification to the vehicle’s original factory configuration, including but not limited to: mileage discrepancy, non-factory components, accessories, or performance enhancements.
Vehicle pictures, Repair Order, parameter reporting, documents proving the vehicle modification.
Any active warranties may be void. However, it is possible to perform Recall Campaigns under warranty.
Documents proving that all modified parts have been replaced and the vehicle is at Maserati standard.

ROTThis flag Total Loss is entered when we receive documentation that states the scrapping of the vehicle (pictures with VIN, car breaker document, reference Authority certification, etc.)
The vehicle warranty expires for all car components
RUBThis flag may be added when we receive information about car theft: email/mail from insurance company, Police.
When this flag is active, the warranty and the Service Entry opening are blocked.
The flag may be removed when appropriate proof of vehicle recovery has been supplied.
