Time Limit Requirements
It is imperative that Maserati be provided with timely information to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
Repair Order Open and Close Dates
- RO Open Date – This reflects the date the vehicle arrives at the dealership and determines the warranty coverage eligibility.
- RO Close Date – This reflects the date the vehicle repair is completed. The RO close date must match the last technician time punch. The repair order must be closed promptly once the repair is completed, as the close date determines the warranty claim submission time period.
A repair order must not remain open for an extended period of time, as the open and close dates determine the vehicle’s warranty coverage. It is the dealership’s responsibility to properly open and close a repair order (RO), as well as to notify the customer once the repair is completed.
Warranty claims that do not meet the following requirements may be blocked or rejected:
Claim Submission – warranty claims must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date the Repair Order was closed.
Returned Claims – returned warranty claims must be adjusted and resubmitted within 30 calendar days from the date the claim was returned (e.g. paid, partially paid, or rejected).
ModisCS+ will not accept any claim beyond this time frame and the warranty claim cannot be submitted. Only the Warranty Department can authorize late filing for justified exceptions.
Contact warranty@maserati.com for delay block release requests. Please provide detailed explanation for delayed claim submission.
